Sur le chemin de Compostelle à Moirax
Read moreÉape on the road of Santiago de Compostela (GR 652), the commune of Moirax is a high place in the religious history of France. At the beginning of the priory, this 6,7 km hike proposes to walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims. Take the time to admire this 100 th century building, whose construction by the clunisien order lasted over years, before embarking on the trail. It winds in the woods before crossing the river of Jorle and then passing through its other arm, the Toumbade. You will continue under the trees along the river, until you go back to Moirax. On the road you will find views of the castle of Las Boubées and the valley of the Garonne.

La boucle de Bonaguil à VTT
Read moreFrom the Bonaguil commune, this 9,3 km loop can be done on foot (3 h) or Mountain bike (about 1 h). It takes you to the Découverte Castle, classified as the Main Site of Aquitaine, and the GR 36 which links the ancient Périgord and Quercy provinces. It is by climbing to the castle that the trail begins, offering the possibility of a break to visit it before filling in the woods. The rest of the circuit is mostly located in the forest, with beautiful views of the Thèze valley and the castle. You will meet on the road several pigeonholes that deserve a stop.

You'll hike along the hillsides between the Landes forest and the Garonne valley. You'll come across woods with dovecotes, meadows with Blondes d'Aquitaine cattle, cornfields and panoramic views of Casteljaloux and the Pyrenees on a clear day. You'll see ruined churches and two well-preserved ones: one with a wall steeple in Veyries, the other with a pointed steeple in Sainte-Gemme-Martaillac.
