Less than 10 km east of the town of Nikšić is a watering hole as if you were at the end of the world. From the center, take the road to Laz. The lake is about 2 km long and lies in the middle of the Dinaric Alps. The lake itself offers the possibility of kayaking, rowing and windsurfing. In town, you can rent bicycles and ride around the lake several times, passing around the Župa monastery (Жупа). When the weather is nice, you can take a boat and sail with the oars.

The recently created ski school (in 2009) offers you lessons in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, night skiing and snowboarding. With more than forty instructors, it offers lessons for all categories, from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels. Some instructors are exclusively dedicated to young people. The courses take place mainly at the foot of the Savin Kuk slopes.

The school often organizes competitions, races and graduation ceremonies.

A rafting club that offers one or two-day trips. The more courageous can try traditional rafting on wooden rafts! Their pride and joy: the longest zip line in Europe that crosses the Tara Canyon. Examples: rafting over a distance of 12 km to the Lever Tara camp (Žugića Luke), then visit the Ljutica River, visit the Archangel Michael Monastery, swimming in the green whirlpools called Paradise Gardens. Adrenaline guaranteed!

The Nevidio extreme sports association offers one-day canyoning from mid-June to the end of September. Trekking also possible in the beautiful high altitude lakes Kapetanovo, Grahovo or Bilećko. When booking inform your height, weight and shoe size in order to provide the necessary equipment. Nevidio Canyoning guides have professional licenses, are experienced and speak English fluently. 3 km from the center of Žabljak, at an altitude of 1,416 m, the natural treasures of the Black Lake and the surrounding mountain range are combined in an attractive adventure park. Within the park, there is an adult area, a children's area, a zip line and a free-fall course, a rope course and zip lines over the forest. Nearly 1,300 m of zip lines in total. The two longest (300 and 350 m) fly over the Black Lake (from 10 years old). Awaken your adventurous side!

On the southern slopes of the 2,313 m high Savin Kuk is a beautiful mid-mountain ski resort. It has three blue runs, one red run and one black run. It is easy to get some fresh air and stretch your legs. Skiers and snowboarders have 1.6 km of runs and two lifts at their disposal. The resort is located between 1,485 and 1,953 m above sea level. The focus here is on off-piste skiing, which can be practised without any restrictions - for the time being - in the entire ski area.
