A very well located restaurant, on the peninsula at the exit of the pedestrian bridge, which offers a very pleasant traditional Finnish cuisine! In the winter you can sit comfortably in the cosy interior room with its wooden style and in the summer you can enjoy a beautiful sunny terrace. On the kitchen side, the chef uses only Finnish meat and fish, to guarantee maximum freshness and favour short circuits. As for the vegetables, they come from the surrounding farms. Very good value for money.

In an imposing century-old house, you will find a charming and very warm couple who welcome you in a simple and delicious restaurant on the ground floor. It is a historic house that was bombed during the Winter War by the Soviets in 1940. On the kitchen side, all the dishes are homemade, according to grandmother's recipe, with starter and dessert. The food is excellent, the welcome is perfect with a very good quality/price ratio.

A large choice of good thick pancakes, sweet or savoury: spinach, pistou, chicken, three cheeses... On the sweet side, there is also a choice of classic spreads, sugar, banana, caramel... And also excellent choices of hot drinks. We dare you to finish your cake because it's so copious; you can bring the rest with you! The welcome is good and the decoration, a bit kitsch with a reproduction of the Sistine Chapel on the ceiling is astonishing, but we are delighted! Reservation is highly recommended.

The Mango restaurant is located in the Holiday Club Hotel. It is friendly, lively and often full. The choice is vast and the dishes are good and hearty. Both for breakfast and lunch, there are gluten-free options for those who want. In the morning, the buffet is copious with a wide choice of sweet and savoury products. The lounas between noon and 2pm is also of good quality, good value for money. The staff is very friendly and welcoming but one can however regret the lack of personality of the place.

As you enter Café Rooster, you will discover a lovely café housed in a beautifully decorated wooden building with a designer décor, which is bathed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Burgers are delicious! Vegetarian dishes are also on the menu to satisfy the greatest number. To accompany your meal, try one of the many selections of beers that are served. And for the rather sweet palates, good news: the desserts are excellent! Friendly and welcoming staff.

This delicious restaurant is located in an old warehouse from 1881 that once stored salt and other agricultural products. Opened since 2003, the team strives to serve quality food, highlighting Scandinavian and more specifically Finnish gastronomy. Here you can enjoy traditional dishes creatively revisited, all with a sea view. Beautiful wine list to accompany the dishes. The plus: the quality of the service and the kindness of the team. All in all, an undeniably good address.

Lapland Hotel Oulu's delicious gourmet restaurant is beautifully decorated on the theme of nature, but above all it offers typical Lapland dishes cooked with delicacy and that will make you melt away! A pleasure for the eyes as well as for the taste buds. On the menu: salmon soup, reindeer and carrots, mushroom risotto, salad, Oula burger... The menu is adapted according to the season and some dishes of the day are proposed and vary according to the market and the chef's mood. Nice wine list.
