The museum is located in a former Pushkin mansion. You can see manuscripts and personal objects from Gogol, Pushkin, Bounine or Shevchenko.

This museum is the main interest of the city. It is dedicated to the memory of the Jewish community of Kirovohrad, decimated largely by the Nazis and then persecuted by the Soviets. The testimonies, paintings and photos are truly disturbing.
