Carmeta's great niece, Eva G. Travesset carries on the tradition of craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation by the women of the family. What is it about? A mountain liqueur with medicinal properties, made from nuts and a variety of aromatic herbs hand-picked at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. Once collected, the plants must be macerated for at least 40 days in order to extract their active principles. Try a glass of Ratassia de la Carmeta, it doesn't get more authentic than this!

You can find croissants, chocolate breads, pies and other very good pastries at affordable prices, but also simple and well-made bocatas (sandwiches). The few tables are crowded, but Andorra la Vella has plenty of small places for a snack in the open air.
