Read moreLocated in the village of Jakuszice, 8km from Szklarska Poręba, this is the most famous cross-country skiing center in Lower Silesia, with many marked trails for cross-country races and ski tours, competition trails and tourist routes. Its microclimate allows for long-lasting snow cover. Every year in March, the Piast race takes place here, an international event that brings together some 4,000 skiers on 25 and 50 km long trails. In Polana Jakuszycka, Border Rush, one of the dog sled races, is held.

Read moreIn season, several cruises on the Oder are offered from four different piers: Kardynalska, Zwierzyniecka (ul. Wróblewskiego 1), ZOO - Brama Japońska and Hala Targowa. Cruises through the city lasting 75, 60 and 40 minutes. A great way to discover how beautiful the city is from the river, with its Parisian-style gray quays, red-brick Gothic roofs and green spaces that generously shade strollers.

Read moreWith a capacity of 42,771, Wroclaw's brand-new stadium was built especially for Euro 2012. The resident club has been Śląsk Wrocław (Polish L1) since its inauguration on September 10, 2011. The stadium has hosted three Group A group matches: Czech Republic - Russia, Czech Republic - Greece and Poland - Czech Republic (where their 0 - 1 defeat denied Poland a place in the quarter-finals...). Many national matches are played here.
