PARADE OF DRAGONS IN CRACOW
Read moreThis festival is held in honor of the dragon of Wawel Hill, a founding legend of the city and an important symbol of the country. The event lasts a whole day, and in the evening begins a procession-competition of dragons in all their forms, ending at the Rynek. A live show also takes place at the foot of Wawel Hill, in front of the Vistula River. Finally, at nightfall, a grand pyrotechnic show recreates the dragon's arrival in town.
