Modern, very pleasant and right in the spirit of Krakow's "Jewish Revival", this is the only authentically Jewish hotel in the area. On the program: Jewish decorative motifs, an excellent kosher restaurant frequented by the few local practitioners and a mikveh, the only Jewish ritual bath still in operation in Poland. Finally, it was within the august walls of this hotel that Steven Spielberg chose to shoot many scenes from his famous film Schindler's List. An address that's delightfully off the beaten track.

A pretty address full of charm. At "Les Voisins", you immediately feel at ease, as if you were among friends, and you can feel that the staff has taken special care to ensure that this is the case. The place is full of character, thanks to its superb interior courtyard that frames the rooms and creates a sense of privacy and calm. The breakfast held there in the summer is idyllic. The rooms, tastefully decorated, promise beautiful nights.

This charming apartment-hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center of town. The rooms are practically brand-new, with excellent bedding, pleasant bathrooms and modern decor. The breakfast buffet (complementary) is very complete and particularly pleasant to enjoy on the terrace in summer. All in all, this is a very good-value establishment close to the center of town. On a small note, the hotel is not equipped with an elevator, so it is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.

Located in a historic 19th-century mansion just a stone's throw from Wawel Hill, this hotel was once an inn called "A l'aigle noir". After a fire in 1850, it was rebuilt and continues to practice its noble art. Today, this very small hotel with frescoed common areas has elegant, somewhat dated but still comfortable rooms, a fitness center and a beautiful green courtyard surrounded by bay windows. The orangery has an original glass roof that adds to the charm of the building.

If you're prepared to pay the price, you'll have all the standing of the best hotels in the country (at a pretty fair price, so it's an opportunity to treat yourself).

This is a very elegant hotel that also has an ideal location in the center of the city, on the market square. The old interiors copy those of a provincial castle and include beautiful country furniture. There are 27 rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people and 10 suites and deluxe rooms. Ask for those with a view of the market square and the hotel's patio with its garden and small fountain. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable. There is also a good restaurant with fine cuisine.

In the heart of the old town, overlooking the Salt Square, in an old Renaissance palace (of course), the Senator offers very comfortable rooms and a setting worthy of the city's great era. The unique atmosphere of the place is reflected in the palatial decoration of the rooms, which are also very comfortable and well arranged, and guarantees a delicious stay in the city. The icing on the cake is the hotel's own medieval-style restaurant, the Stary Dwór, with its large hall and fireplace.

Set on its own property in the middle of a large green park, this hotel occupies a historic complex of three buildings dating from 1861, located right next to the Opatowska Gate which marks the entrance to the old town.

The exterior of the building is not extraordinary, but it is clean and well kept, as are the rooms, which are large and very classic but comfortable. The breakfast is good and the hotel also offers a minispa and whirlpool service. All in all, a very correct address.

This beautiful hotel located on the Rynek in a former 16th century character house that has been recently renovated (inside and out) is an excellent base for a visit to the city. The "atmospheric" establishment has retained its historic charm, but its 9 rooms are very comfortable and of modern standards. A little bonus: they all overlook the square. The service is welcoming and friendly, and the staff is at your disposal for the organization of your visit. The hotel's bar, in an ancient vaulted cellar, is magnificent.

Its standing and location alone justify a wellness stopover, but the Grand Sal's warm, personalized welcome is sure to make you want to return. Ask for the bath salts from the mine! This hostel is not a hostel but a very good apartment-hotel, with competitive prices. It is very well located, about 100 meters from the Rynek, near one of the hot spots of the nightlife. Moreover, you are located just above a discotheque, so be careful if you are sensitive to noise pollution (which remains very livable)! The rooms are pleasant, with a modern decoration on the theme of the pink flamingo -the emblem of the house- and the bedding is good. The staff, renowned for its kindness, ensures a very comfortable and friendly stay.

This guesthouse, located in a beautiful 19th-century villa across the Vistula from the Wawel, is not exactly in the city center, but it offers a unique, intimate and decidedly Polish experience. The 14 rooms, old-fashioned, in white and cream tones and surrounded by the vegetation of the garden, are a carbon copy of the small country hotels built in the 1980s for Westerners. The service, the Polish cuisine restaurant and the breakfast are all typical of what was the norm even twenty years ago.

In the old Ordynacki mill, whose windows offer a beautiful view of the pond with its bucolic "chapel on the water", this wooden inn offers single, double or triple rooms with individual bathrooms for an unbeatable price. The rooms are all modern and tastefully decorated in a very "mountain" style. The common areas are completely rustic, with even a boar's head on the wall in the entrance. Its friendly restaurant serves local specialties.

Another charming house that doubles as a bed and breakfast (there is no shortage of beautiful historic houses in this city). The difference with its neighbors is that this one, which is located on the street, a few steps from the Rynek, traditionally hosts writers. The atmosphere of the establishment is unique, intimate and transports you to another century, it feels like being part of a 19th century family, with very well arranged and comfortable antique furniture. If you manage to get a place, you will have a great stay.

This very small hotel occupies the building of an old synagogue from the 18th century. In this quite exceptional setting are installed 4 very cosy rooms, half of which have been renovated to the most modern standards with bathroom. It is very comfortable. To combine business with pleasure, the hotel offers its guests a fully equipped kitchen, a sauna and mountain bikes. All in all, a superb place that keeps the charm of the old Jewish Kazimierz and that we recommend if you manage to get a place.

A few kilometers from Zwierzyniec, this renovated former farmhouse is located in the heart of the park, on top of a gentle hill. It has 7 beautiful modern double rooms with private bathrooms, a large kitchen and a living room with a large terrace. It is also possible to rent a studio with direct access to the two ponds on the property. The centuries-old forest of Jan Zamoyski, the wheat fields as far as the eye can see, the farm's orchard, the water lilies in the ponds create an almost unreal country idyll. Bicycles and vegetables from the garden are available.

Ideally located next to the Planty, at the gateway to the Rynek and with a solid quality/price ratio, this apartment-hotel is one of our favorites. The 7 apartments in the complex have all been renovated to a high standard in gray and white tones, are spacious and very bright with fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, etc. Choose the apartments that still have their superb old parquet floors or ask for those overlooking the university. Breakfast (three options to choose from) is served only on request in room service.

The Bristol is one of the oldest hotels still operating in the city, a sign that something is going right! The beginning of the answer lies in its good location, right in the city center and overlooking the pedestrian street in the heart of Kielce life. The other part of its success lies in its 27 very comfortable rooms, each with a kitchenette and a desk in the style of an apartment hotel. In the morning, a buffet breakfast is served to guests. Certainly the best value for money in the city.

In the heart of the old town, the Frenchman Pierre and his wife Anna welcome you in comfortable and nicely decorated rooms and apartments, and above all remarkably well located at 10m from the Rynek. Some of them offer views of the main square and the Cloth Hall (the only ones offered at these prices). Breakfast is served in the vaulted cellar of the restaurant, one of the most famous in the city. The staff is bilingual and very welcoming, which makes your trip much easier. A friendly and smart address!

Overlooking the Planty, the Wyspianski offers simple, no-frills, but clean and functional rooms that are gradually being refurbished. Most of the double rooms have two separate single beds, which makes them a good option if you are traveling with friends or a group. This is also the perspective of the large dining room that can accommodate up to 140 people. Overall, this hotel has a very interesting price/quality ratio considering its location! Don't stay up too late if you want to enjoy the breakfast buffet.

Functional rooms with a good balance between modern and old. Near Barbacane.

Pretty, stylish manor house in a very pleasant, rather rustic setting, in the middle of a beautiful forest. A little away from the center, but in a very green part of town. Rooms decorated in warm colors, with balcony. High-quality restaurant. The hotel is part of a hotel group that also includes thermal baths. A choice stopover in the region, and a good place to put down your suitcases. Rates are extremely reasonable, especially as the hotel includes a spa and wellness center.

Surrounded by a wooded garden, the medieval castle of Korzkiew offers a prestigious and intimate guesthouse with only four charming rooms with fireplace and private bathroom. The original structure of the castle has been perfectly preserved, while the interiors have been renovated. The final result is a mix of modern comfort with the old beauty that keeps the original architectural elements. An absolutely charming address, but from the Covid, it is only accessible for rent (which is very expensive).

This American-style villa enjoys an ideal location, overlooking the beautiful Bobolice Castle. In the middle of the suggestive landscape of the Polish Jura, it offers elegant and rather modern rooms. The wooden furniture guarantees a warm and cosy atmosphere. Moreover, the house has a restaurant with local cuisine right next door, which is a blessing in this rather isolated region. Among the hotel's services, free Wi-Fi and private parking are available on site.

This small hotel has clean, modern and relatively bright rooms. In summer, you can even enjoy a large swimming pool outside the hotel and outdoor games for children. It also has camping pitches open to both motorhomes and tents. In the camping area, communal areas (such as toilets and showers) are in plastic cabins... It's not the greatest luxury, but less than 2 km from the salt mines, it's a godsend and a very practical holiday resort.

Small hotel with 10 double rooms and two apartments, not far from the monastery. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. In a slightly regulator position.

The hotel occupies a renovated historic building in the center of town, and features 35 elegant, bright and well-maintained rooms. The standard is that of the countryside and the St. Croix region, not that of the city, so expect interiors that are a little old-fashioned but sympathetic. In any case, it does the job well, and the full buffet breakfast offered in the morning for an extra charge is a very pleasant way to start the day. All in all, a fine hotel with very respectable facilities.

Located in the city of Krakow, the Aleje 28 Hostel is a budget hotel offering good value for money. Rooms are basic but comfortable, and facilities include free parking, free Wi-Fi and an airport shuttle. Right in the heart of Kazimierz, the Warszauer is undoubtedly one of our favorites in Krakow! This boutique hotel on a human scale offers its lucky guests 10 luxury rooms. A mix of designer furniture, top-quality bedding and bathrooms, and works of art make this a superb and exclusive address. In the morning, the à la carte breakfast, served on the large dining room table (where snacks can be enjoyed freely all day long), is absolutely delicious. In two words: we love it!

Located 8 km south of Ogrodzienec, this beautiful house is not far from the Błędowska desert and is surrounded by a large garden of almost 3 ha. It offers guest rooms or apartment for 4 people. Built in 1941, the house has been completely renovated. It has a very sober decoration, of very good taste without being too sought after or ostentatious. The main quality of the place is its very quiet location, in the middle of the countryside and benefiting from the proximity of the nearby forest.

Far from the centre, on a long street that encircles the Quartier Huta area, which has no good reputation but the advantage of being well connected with the centre.

The Zosia is a large, mountain-style "villa" built of wood on the slopes of the Golden Mountain or Złota Góra, 500 m from the village in the Ojców National Park. The building dates back to the 1940s, but the interior is quite modern. There are around ten fairly inexpensive rooms with 2 to 5 beds, half of which share a bathroom in the corridor. Breakfast and meals served at the hotel are available on payment of a supplement. A good option if you're in the area.

Located on the border with Ukraine, in the middle of forests and fields, this farm welcomes visitors in comfortable and bright rooms. On the farm there are many horses owned and cared for by the owners. The meals, delicious, are home-made, with local organic products. Of course, the hosts offer the possibility of horseback riding in the woods and even horseback riding courses for adults and children (provided that you can get over the language barrier). A very thematic stay!

Located a few kilometers south of Zweirzyniec, this farm is surrounded by the beautiful forests of the Roztoczanski National Park. It offers simple and comfortable guest rooms and on the premises, peace and quiet are guaranteed. The wonderful owner prepares delicious meals of traditional Polish cuisine to order. It is a good base for taking the park's hiking trails and nearby bike paths.

Just a stone's throw from the Royal Wawel Castle, Stradom House is a 5-star establishment housed in a magnificent ^14th-century building. Rooms are modern and tastefully furnished. The communal areas are home to Stradomska 12, an excellent Polish fusion restaurant, and Gaia, a Mediterranean-style eatery. Original, inside the former chapel, you can toast the day with one of Hedwig's cocktails. Last but not least, a spa, fitness room and indoor swimming pool round off the quality offering.

Nestled in a beautiful historic building, the Saski is a superb establishment that will delight the most discerning visitor, perfectly meeting the standards of the Curio range from the famous Hilton chain. The spacious rooms combine superb furnishings, state-of-the-art equipment and beautifully maintained period parquet flooring. In the common areas, guests can enjoy a fine restaurant and a very pleasant indoor swimming pool. Excellent breakfast too. In short, a 5-star hotel that lives up to its reputation.

Opened just a few years ago, the BC Residence is an apartment-hotel with all the energy and freshness of youth. Situated on a quiet street between Wolnica and Nowy squares, the hotel is in the heart of the district's nightlife. The quality of service at BC29 is impeccable and the staff extremely dedicated, which sets this establishment apart from its neighbors. The rooms are brand-new and include all the services you'd expect.
