GARE ROUTIÈRE

Bus station
3.8/5
4 reviews

The bus station is located right behind the train station, which it is integrated into. You can reach it from Galeria Krakowska through an underground tunnel. From here depart national buses to Wieliczka, Zakopane, Oświęcim and international routes. Sindbad Eurobus (occasionally) and especially Flixbus (more regularly and with higher comfort) offer regular trips to France. If you leave from the bus station, plan at least 30 minutes in advance. The buses leave on time and do not wait.

GARE CENTRALE (DWORCEK PKP - LUBLIN GŁÒWNY)

Train

The Lublin train station is very beautiful, a memory of a better time when it was an important stopover on the way to the Polish East, now the Ukrainian West. Daily trains leave to Zamość (3 hours), Warsaw (2.5 hours), Kraków (4.5 hours), Kiev (19 hours) and Wrocław (8 hours), with some international trains to Berlin and Vienna. The train station is a 20-minute walk from the city center and is poorly served by transportation, take a cab.

TRAM AQUATIQUE

Getting around by streetcar

Yes, you read it right, this is the Krakow water streetcar (at least in literal translation). You might think of it as half-submerged rails and a kind of underwater train... but in reality it's just boats that operate a total of five lines between Krakow and the Tyniec Monastery. This is a good alternative for those who want to combine business with pleasure and discover the Vistula. Every day, from 10 am to 5 pm, streetcars on the water connect the Kazimierz shopping center to Tyniec. See the schedule on the website.
