Often cited as one of the city's best restaurants, it's certainly worth a detour. It's a very modern restaurant, with a contemporary urban decor, offering a remarkable seasonal menu inspired by international cuisine. The dishes served are sophisticated, well mastered and of the highest quality, with particular attention paid to aesthetics. All in all, it's an excellent dining experience, with no regrets thanks to its good value for money.

Certainly one of the best restaurants in town, simply because of its exceptional location, as it is the resident restaurant of the castle. The prices are slightly inflated but the food is divine, despite its very touristy approach. The menu as well as the decor are reminiscent of the Poland of nobles and knights. The meat dishes in particular are worth trying. In summer, enjoy the beautiful terrace on the river side. The rest of the year, try to go there during off-peak hours, the place is even more pleasant in small company.

A veritable fresh-fish market with the scent of local produce and the rich terroir of the surrounding area. Focused on quality and freshness, the menu offers oysters, fish and other seafood with intense flavors. A true culinary experience in a sublime setting, somewhere between a brasserie and a gourmet restaurant. Paprykarz Fish Market is a place where passion for cooking, combined with the high quality of the produce, makes every visit a new culinary experience. We absolutely recommend it.

Located in an old attic dating back to the 1870s, this restaurant tries to recreate an "old Poland" atmosphere with rustic, country-style interiors. The cuisine is of course traditional, featuring old recipes straight from the Soviet era, and regional specialties. It's a very pleasant summer garden on the banks of the Brda River: ideal for fine weather. Last but not least, the Karczma Młyńska operates on two levels, each of which can accommodate 60 people, guaranteeing a degree of privacy.

This milk bar is probably the most economical option you will find in Malbork. Homemade soups, pierogis, schnitzel... the great classics of Polish cuisine, generous portions and low prices. A good option in this city that lacks a little bit of sophisticated catering or that really follows the tourists' tastes. After all, it would be a pity to go and eat in one of the big international restaurant chains that swarm in the city center and around the castle.

This restaurant occupies a former attic in the old town, on the banks of the Brda River. From the outside, the warmth of Cesky Port is already apparent, with its red bricks, half-timbering and small dark wooden shutters. Inside, the restaurant resembles a modernized Czech inn. The whole is very warm, and in perfect harmony. The menu is based on Czech, Polish and Bavarian specialties, with a slight twist. Many families with children visit on Sundays.

A restaurant on a boat moored in front of the castle where you can enjoy Polish dishes on the go, especially made with fish. It also has a menu and a playground for children. Excellent address for visitors in a hurry or who don't want to bother with a long lunch break. The menu offers a small selection of dishes, and although the food is not very hearty, nor very tasty, it does the job, when the setting takes care of the rest. The prices on the other hand are somewhat high.

A charming little address that has been in existence for almost twenty years, making the most of its pretty wooden chalet, obviously decorated in the rustic style of a mountain cottage, with its wooden walls, flowers and rural ornaments. If the name "De feu et d'acier" refers to a temple of Polish literature, it's to bring visitors back to the distant past of its recipes, immersing them in Polish and Lithuanian culinary traditions, with a wide choice of meat and game dishes.

A successful chain offering excellent pierogi cooked to suit all tastes and sauces. The menu features all kinds of specialties and tasty dishes that could have come straight out of a real Polish grandmother's kitchen. The dishes are therefore slightly different from what you'd expect to find in traditional cuisine, with quiches, soups, salads and a wide choice of desserts. In short, you're in for a treat at this rustic restaurant, which is very popular with the locals. We recommend the specialties and the grilled pierogi.

"Jan Olbracht", named after the Polish king who died in the town in the ^16th century, is one of the country's mushrooming breweries. It includes a restaurant and a microbrewery, where unpasteurized, unfiltered beer is produced on site. The menu is varied, and includes traditional meat dishes and potato pancakes. The setting is particularly beautiful, combining wood and leather.

On the banks of a small stream, you can enjoy a large sunny terrace. The menu features a fine selection of seafood dishes. Monkfish, salmon, herring, trout, halibut... There's something for every taste, and always with quality in mind. The chef undoubtedly knows his stuff and his dishes are tasty, presented with a simplicity that contrasts with the sophisticated decor of the main dining room, which is a little designer/oriental. A very fine address, if not one of the best in town!

In the city center, this restaurant offers traditional Polish cuisine (but the menu, adapted to its location on the Baltic, also includes French fries and shrimps) in a warm, rustic atmosphere. Fish caught offshore is also served. The establishment has an atypical appearance: that of a wooden hut, copying typical mountain architecture (not common by the sea), but which remains warm in its own way.
