FESTA DE SANTA ISABEL

This religious festival, lived intensely by the believers, takes place on the island of Boa Vista, over several days at the beginning of July. On the program: masses in the parish church, the pilgrimage of the little saint Isabel, processions and various exhibitions. Finally, on July 4, the day of the patron saint, a solemn celebration is given in her honor. A sale of handicrafts is held in the hall of the church, as well as sports and cultural activities. An important festival that attracts crowds, both local people and curious tourists.
