Gourmandises Médiévales, in Provins, is both a cookie shop and a culinary workshop. The manager of this warm and inviting store, whose fragrances are reminiscent of childhood, brings medieval gastronomy back to life with sweet and savoury treats inspired by the traditions of the Middle Ages: rose products, honey loaves, galettes and marzipans... available individually or in pretty baskets. You can also take part in an on-site culinary workshop.

Located just a stone's throw from the Place Saint-Quiriace, Carla Renault's pretty boutique has everything to do with beekeeping and the Provins rose, which she cultivates and transforms. With her husband, a beekeeper, she uses medieval recipes to create a wide range of products: fruit, vegetables and flowers cooked or preserved with spices in honey; homemade jams; honey (rose de Provins bramble, acacia, lime, all-flower, rapeseed, forest...), as well as mead, gingerbread, sweets, mustards, beauty products... Delicious!

This corner shop has just been refurbished. Outside, a counter allows for tasting chocolate, tea, coffee and many of the department's specialities. Here, gourmets will find their happiness between briardes patties, Moret's barley sugars, fruit pasta, jams, Rose rose, Gâtinais beer, the Nemours liquor, or chocolate lovers the Monterelais stones and the Napoléon Napoléon. It is the oldest cheese factory in the Brie region. Since 1895, the farm's fresh cheeses are matured in the cellars for 5 weeks. A maturing of farmhouse Brie cheese according to the artisanal method. The milk does not undergo any transformation and keeps all its aromas. In the morning, the sale is done on the markets, the afternoon is dedicated to the visits of the maturing cellars. This farm has been in the family for several generations, and is now run by Valentin Abit. The estate boasts no fewer than 6,000 apple trees, producing 17 different varieties of apple. Worked according to the rules of organic farming, the estate has also installed beehives to encourage pollination. Strawberries can also be found in the farm store, which is open all week and offers over 200 local products in addition to farm produce, as well as meat on request.

Nassau Rhums is the passion of a self-taught lover of rum, cuisine and travel, who, in the course of his adventures, has gathered a whole range of gustatory emotions that have given birth to innovative recipes, of course unique, subtly combining aromas, spices and fruits. A splendid farm with a th century dungeon located between Coulommiers and Jouarre on the road to Taken. Claire-Marie and Christophe Charpentier are grain farmers, but their great passion is apples. Founded in 1895, La fromagerie Ganot is one of the oldest cheese dairies in Seine-et-Marne, perpetuating authentic know-how and a solid knowledge of Briard cheeses. Today, run by Isabelle and Stéphane Ganot, the company continues to promote the region, maturing its bries in its own cellars and offering other local specialties. On the shelves: brie de Meaux, brie de Melun, brie noir, coulommiers, but not only: tomme de meulière, petits palets, petits coeurs à la crème... The house also offers its own platters.

Ferme du Grand Balleau Terre de Brie is a farm offering a range of local products: fresh rhubarb, cider vinegar with saffron, saffron syrup, rhubarb syrup, saffron-flavored Noirmoutier fleur de sel... The farm can be visited by appointment. Near the farm, you can also enjoy walks, mountain bike rides or car rides to discover the Pereuse pond, the Pereuse military cemetery and Jouarre Abbey.

Located in the heart of the Briard region, this family-run farm practices not only organic farming but also direct sales, guaranteeing a fair price for both producer and consumer. You'll find vegetables, cereals and oilseeds, some of which are transformed on site into traditional flours, oils and pulses. So don't hesitate!

An original breeding experience for Joëlle and Jean-Pierre Rocipon, that of avertis gastéropodes. Here you find the snail transformed in different forms - verrines short-bouillonnées, escargotines, fresh stuffed snails - only on order -, cooked snails…

A former mayor of Melz-sur-Seine and a farmer for several decades, Patrice Boudignat is a committed and passionate man, who keeps craftsmanship alive in his corner of Seine-et-Marne. Wearing many hats and offering a range of fine local products, Patrice is first and foremost renowned for his mustard production: Provins mustard or rose mustard. The farm doesn't stop at mustard, however, offering Highland beef by reservation. Regional cheeses are also on sale.

Inaugurated at the end of 2023, the Maison du Terroir marks the revival of the Place Claude Eymard-Duvernay, recently renovated by the town council and part of a town-centre regeneration project featuring stores and civic projects. The store showcases the riches of the Seine-et-Marne region, with no fewer than 640 artisanal products on offer from some 50 producers, both from the region and from towns twinned with Montereau-Fault-Yonne. You'll find everything from sweet and savoury products to spirits and specialities, and cosmetics.

Located in the south of Seine-et-Marne, halfway between Melun and Provins, in the heart of the countryside, Ferme de la Psauve raises Prim'Holstein dairy cows, and extracts a fine range of artisanal dairy products. Made in their own approved laboratory, the farm's yogurts are available directly from the farm and at local markets. Ferme de Nangis' plain yogurts won a silver medal at the Concours Général Agricole 2023.

This bakery-patisserie is located in the lower town, just a few minutes' walk downhill from the medieval town, at the corner of Place du Maréchal Leclerc and Rue Victor Garnier. The storefront sets the tone for the many rose-based specialties on offer, including macaroons and confits... You'll also find seasonal chocolates, confectionery and tea.

Founded in 2021, the Provins brewery has put the town on the map for craft beer lovers, offering a fine range of local beers in the heart of the medieval city. The brewery's catalog of beers includes whites, blondes, ambers, browns and IPAs, not to mention specials, for a good dozen possibilities. You can enjoy them to take away or on site, in their superb old-fashioned pub, reminiscent of English taverns, with its wood and busy decor. Plates of artisanal products are also available.
