The menu is varied with specialties such as Kerala parothas, masala dosa, idli, or the inevitable biryani, to be accompanied by a very good coffee or chai. Sweets are also on the menu such as fruit salads. The only drawback is the high number of customers, which will probably force you to queue.

From 12 to 3 pm, they serve excellent thalis (called meals here) from South India, Punjab and the special thali of the place. Also on the menu: masala dosa. The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere but the quality of the products is there and the customers are flocking! The portions are relatively small though.

The setting is not the most welcoming and would deserve to be better kept, however the welcome is nice.

Located within the luxury hotel King's Cliff, a little away from Ooty in the climb (allow 15 minutes walk minimum), this restaurant proposes gastronomic dishes of quality. On the menu, Indian and international specialties, the dishes are delicately presented, hearty and tasty. The place is magical and has a colonial atmosphere with undeniable charm. The prices are high of course, but the service is impeccable. One of the best restaurants in the region.

You can find vegetarian food from South and North India and Chinese specialties. The Veg Noodles or the biryani are a complete meal. The menu also includes fresh fruit juices, ice cream and falooda, an Indian frozen dessert that combines rose syrup, rice vermicelli, fresh fruit, milk and ice cream. The establishment is located on the left side of the bus stand.
