At the Logis de la Bouchardière, the cultivation of the vineyard began in 1850. The Domaine de la Haute Olive, in Chinon, joined the Logis in 2006 to ensure the continuity of the vineyard on Bruno's wife's side. The estate produces wines that are recognized and regularly win the highest awards in regional and national competitions. The Château de la Grille was founded in the 15th century. In 2009, Christophe Baudry and Jean Martin Dutour joined forces to promote great Chinon wines, with unique flavors and aromas in the region. Domaine de Noiré is located in the commune of Chinon, in the heart of the AOC appellation. The vines, some of which are over 50 years old, cover more than 14 hectares. This organically managed vineyard is located on the birthplace of Rabelais. With a natural clarification of the wine and vintages aged in barrels and not filtered, the red, white, rosé and sparkling wines are an exact reflection of the terroir. The cellars where the wines are stored provided tufa stone that was used in the construction of great monuments in the region. The Couly-Dutheil estate has been in existence for over 90 years. After a long and patient search for quality, you will find elegant wines with a powerful character: Clos de l'Echo, Clos de l'Olive... The vines on this lovely estate have been worked biodynamically since 2005, to enhance the value of the vineyard and offer personalized beverages. Béatrice and Pascal Lambert are committed to defending the Chinon vineyards. Their three terroirs are spread over 18 ha. Domaine Angelliaume is a winery offering a wide selection of quality wines.

Nestled in the Moulin à Tan Valley, this estate has about 30 hectares of vines, planted with Cabernet Franc and some Chenin. Sylvain and Caroline are now inspired by biodynamics for the production of their wines. Red, white, rosé, sparkling rosé: visitors can taste and appreciate the different terroirs after a free or guided visit of the cellar and the green estate. The love of wine is here a family story. We discover the love of men for an exceptional nature and the techniques of elaboration of great wines.

This estate operates 13 ha of vineyards spread over the plain and hillsides. The vineyard converted to organic in 2018. The grape varieties used are Cabernet Franc for the red and rosé wines and Chenin for the white wine. The diversity of the soils and the age of the vines (from 20 to 80 years old) allow us to offer a variety of vintages, aged in vats, barrels or even in a terracotta egg. The wines of the plain are fruity, while those of the hillsides, more complex, are rather intended for aging. The domain also produces wine confits and grape juice.

This 17-hectare vineyard, run under organic farming, was refined by Philippe Pichard, who comes from a family of winegrowers from father to son for five generations. Since they took over the estate in 2012, Annick and Francis Jourdan, driven by the same passion for wine, continue the work undertaken in the same approach of quality and respect for the soil and offer wines of pleasure produced in all authenticity. This family estate of 26 ha, classified in AOC Chinon, has exceptional terroirs on Cravant-les-Côteaux whose diversity allows to produce red and white Chinon wines. Laurent and Stéphane continue the work of their grandfather and father, in the tradition, while creating new vintages highlighting the richness and complexity of the Cravant soils. The Domaine Gouron offers a wide range of red, rosé and white wines which are distinguished by their singularity and by a faithful expression of the grape variety.

An organic estate. After generations, Bertrand Sourdais took over the management of this estate bordered by the Chinon forest and has since worked to develop great wines. If Cravant-les-Coteaux is home to 750 ha of the Chinon wine appellation, only 70 ha are in superior cru on the hillside. The Domaine de Pallus owns 12 of them on the best terroirs. Bertrand Sourdais and his wife Josette welcome you for a commented tasting of their Grand Vin de Pallus, Pensées de Pallus, Coq de Pallus and other Clos de Pallus.

At the head of this organically farmed estate, located on the gravel of the right bank of the Vienne, in the heart of the Chinon appellation, is Frédéric Sigonneau, who returned to Touraine in 2004 after training in Spain. Three years later, he founded his estate on the remains of the family vineyard in Cravant-les-Coteaux. In 2015, Frédéric Sigonneau gave new life to the original 8 ha of the estate. Why the R? Because on this estate, viticulture is practiced in phase with the elements that compose it: soil, water and... air.

When the Domaine des Forges was taken over, everything was completely renovated. And fortunately, because it would have been a shame to see this former stronghold of the castle of Chinon, where Louis XI stayed, disappear. On the cellar side, the Domaine des Forges has some nice surprises in store. The balance of this 2006 is the result of the right proportions between the fruit, the matter and the tannins.
