Daily press Pays d'Auch

It is the most influential local newspaper of the left-wing tendency. Founded in 1870 under the name La Dépêche de Toulouse, it was bought in 1925 by the Baylet family, who still own it today. Today it has a circulation of about 150,000 copies, with many local editions: Ariège, Aveyron, Haute-Garonne, Gers, Lot, Hautes-Pyrénées, etc... You can find it everywhere : shops, cafés, press houses... It deals with both local information and general news based on AFP dispatches.
