The oldest branch of the CFCC in Egypt is the one in Alexandria. Its mission is to teach French and to strengthen the links between Egypt and France in all fields: educational and linguistic, cultural, university, scientific and technical... The institute is very active, you will find its programme on the website: workshops, conferences, exhibitions, language courses, media library and other cultural events.

A destination for Muslim families, their relatives or anyone interested in the living heritage of the Maghreb countries, this cultural centre was established in 1996. The only one in France to benefit from the approval of the association of family associations, which informs on its secular and apolitical side. The UNION is carried by active members, all sharing the same intent: show a festive, tolerant face, curious of the arts in all its forms until the culinary art. Knowledge, learning of Arabic languages, discoveries of handwritten writings (courses in calligraphy, graphic art), music, dances, sport… In short, everything that makes the Arab world greatness today. A beautiful annual showcase, the Eid Festival in October brings together all its positive impulses in many events, often the fruit of the workshops. Cultural and social, the UNION also plays an important role in the representation of families in the public authorities (administrative accompaniment, defence of children's interests, consumer rights…)

Present in Marseilles, the Jewish community is particularly active in the 6 ^th arrondissement. In the Castellane area, around the streets Rostand, Dragon, Saint-Suffren, it has private schools, snacks, restaurants, small cafes, tea rooms. True neighborhood life, there are hairdressers, grocery stores, supermarkets… In the middle of all these nearby shops, the Jewish cultural centre, which has been in existence since 1964, is an obligation for all those who want to go further. Activities are diverse and varied: seminars on Jewish history and thought, exhibitions, concert, cinema… For regular activities, Hebrew courses (oulpanim) are very serious. There is even a module for the récalcitrants, for those who really have difficulty with the language. They are invited to be more user-friendly, to learn to communicate in Hebrew, around a meal for example. Courses of capoeira also, book workshops, workshops for children, cooking courses… In short, something happens at the Fleg!

The IFEAC hosts specialized students and researchers on Central Asia. You can find many books (including the Central Asian Notebooks) and published theses on Uzbekistan. If your stay continues in Tashkent and you want to know more about the country, its history and culture, the library is in free access. The staff is very welcoming but obviously not to welcome tourists, so respect the work of researchers during your possible work.

Actions Mongolie is a Lyon-based association dedicated to humanitarian actions in Mongolia. Their website provides information on their projects, past and future missions, as well as detailed mission reports.
