If you combine your passion for tea with that of knitting, or just one of the two, go to this tea room just a stone's throw from the Cours Julien. An amazing and passionate concept opened by Chloé in early 2020. A warm and cosy place where you can drink tea, enjoy a pastry, and buy all the supplies you need for your good knitting practice: balls of wool, needles, hooks, buttons... Chloé does not compromise with quality and sells only 100% French wools and natural: Bergère de France, Makeda, We are knitters... Open wool workshops, beginners workshops are organized to get you started. Original and welcome!

Formerly a forced secretary to a professional conversion, Claude Sany provides courses of pottery and basketry to small and large, between 4 and 80 years. Their collective format does not prevent everyone from doing their own thing: That's the gogo, which instead of modelling, which is utilitarian objects, which still of pure decoration, which are baskets of rattan, which are rope hats… For adults, count 45 € per month for a 2-hour course per week, to which the supplies must be added. Children are welcomed (for 34,50 €, all inclusive). Available to all, a oven, three towers, enamels… and ideas to the excavator!

Christophe Roussel, in a workshop on the rue Breteils, put his experience to profit by sharing his passion: it offers catering courses, furniture processing, foil and patina. You are free to follow the courses at your rate. His teaching spans three years. First of all, you will discover the different products and their utility, leaf foil, different wood and different French styles. In the second year, it is the turn to learn the patina and method of céruse while visiting museums. Finally, for the last year, you will do what you want under the master's leadership. Of course, throughout the training, you work on your furniture.

A place of expression and exploration in Lyon, the "Écrire en liberté" workshop led by authors Serge Rivron and Valérie Rossignol, invites you to develop your creativity through a variety of writing genres. This workshop invites you to explore different forms of writing, with no starting level required. This workshop encourages you to confront your need to write, and is rooted in a literary perspective nurtured by reading established authors. Poetry, fiction, description, dialogue, screenplay, short story: explore different styles and find your voice. It's a place of creation and discovery for writing enthusiasts.
