The Aviron Bayonnais Omnisports has 24 sections: aikido, athletics, rowing, basketball, English boxing, cycling, soccer, fencing, handball, judo, swimming, pelota, pro rugby, tennis, chess, pirogue... Its past is rich in victories and its present no less so. For several years now, Aviron has been working closely with San Sebastian and Guipuzkoa to develop certain disciplines. Thanks to this partnership, leisure sports have taken on a new dimension within the club.

The El Hogar multisport center also has a 25-meter swimming pool. A relaxing activity par excellence, it keeps you in contact with the water all year round, since it's open both summer and winter. The pool has a removable roof that can be partly opened in fine weather. A lifeguard takes care of supervision. Learn-to-swim lessons are available. A solarium with a wooden terrace completes the offer. The city-center pool is well served by bus routes and has ample parking.

Fancy a canoe trip on the Dordogne? If so, don't hesitate to make an appointment with Canoë Castillonnais by phone or on Facebook. The company offers two routes of 6 to 12 km, departing from Lamothe-Montravel and Pessac-sur-Dordogne. Allow around 1h30 for the first route and 3h for the second. Meet at Les Batailleurs campsite! Departures are possible in the morning or afternoon. This is a great activity for two, family or friends. Reservations recommended!

Numerous sailboats and owner's launches on the site. Regattas organized with results, since the club, founded in 1993, has been ranked first in Aquitaine for four consecutive years. It's a magnificent playground for lovers of fun and itinerant sailing. With over 150 active members, the YCH is one of the main drivers of local boating activity. Jo Moraiz was a precursor in this field and we can consider that it is him who brought surfing to Biarritz in the sixties. He created the^first surf shop before setting up the^first surf school in 1966, which is still world famous today. Nautilclub is a sailing and boat rental school on the Biscarrosse-Parentis lake. Catamaran, funbord, dinghy, paddle, pedalo, kayak... With family or friends, discover this large natural lake covering 3,500 hectares. The lake water is soft, shallow and sandy. Quick to warm up, it's ideal for learning to windsurf. Whether you're looking for an introductory session, a group session or a private lesson, Nautilclub is for everyone who wants to try their hand at windsurfing. Want to feel like a real pirate? Come and sail on the dreaded Magdeleine lake and become a captain like the famous Blackbeard. Small unsinkable electric boats with black flags guide you on the waves. They can accommodate three sailors and a captain. Little pirates over 9 years old can even pilot their own ship! Life jackets are of course provided on site. After the treasure hunt, the pirate tavern offers waffles, ice cream and hot or cold drinks.

Canoe trips from the Ur Ondoa rental base offer the ideal experience for families and groups, in complete safety (life jackets are compulsory). Closed since 2014, the Galin swimming pool has (finally) found its swimmers and splashers! The cabins have been replaced, the pool linings changed, the facades reworked, the exterior concrete treated and the roof refurbished... The Galin pool, which has been awarded the " Remarkable contemporary architecture of the ^20th century" label, boasts a number of new features designed to enhance user comfort, including the creation of a planted outdoor deck, water games for children, a 50 m² paddling pool and a fitness room.

Completely renovated in 2007, this swimming pool is located in the Grand Parc-Chartrons-Paul Doumer district. It has been designed to comply with HQE (High Environmental Quality) standards, in the choice of materials used for its implementation and in terms of energy and water management. The pool water is heated by solar panels on the roof and treated by an ultraviolet system that dechlorinates it. A forecourt was created following the demolition of its main façade. The first swimming pool in the region to be equipped with a surveillance assistance system to prevent drowning, it is equipped with cameras that monitor the behaviour of swimmers, a 25-metre pool with 8 lanes, a learning pool with a counter-current river and a paddling pool with a playground. The outside area is a green area for sunbathing and sunbathing. Please note that during the short school holidays, the schedules are different. The swimming pool has the Tourism and Handicap label.

This aquatic complex offers a 25 m sports pool for experienced swimmers, with dedicated lanes or freestyle. Training courses, swimming lessons and aquatic activities take place in the learning pool. La Palue is a small river that you can canoe down with the Castets club (affiliated to the French Canoeing Federation). Summer is the ideal period for leisurely descents. The Section, based in Biarritz's typical fishermen's harbor, currently has over 70 members. Activities include introductory scuba-diving courses for beginners and training for levels 1 to 4 and E1, E2, E3. From May onwards, their boat is put back in the water for dives 7 days a week on reservation. Dives take place in shallow water up to 55 meters below the surface.
