Hardly a year goes by without the Belle-de-Mai district, around La Friche, seeing the arrival of an exciting new address! To be perfectly accurate, we're not actually in La Belle-de-Mai, but a stone's throw away, and at Les Pieds tanqués, a stone's throw counts. Here, in a place that's all about conviviality and meeting new people, lots of young people come for a drink, a bite to eat and a game of cochonnet. Because yes, Pétanque does indeed come from "tanned feet", and its name did indeed derive from this expression when it was created in La Ciotat. We love the healthy spirit of this new place for sharing, the idea that Provencal heritage can be combined with our modern lifestyles.

A few weeks of work and a new skin for this café, which is now a must in the Opera district. The dynamic Dvozig is still at the helm with his unstoppable concept of tea and infusions bar. A cosy place with a beautiful terrace where you can lounge in the sun while enjoying the liveliness of the Place de l'Opéra. To eat now, Dvozig has revisited things with a tribute to its origins: small home-cooked Armenian dishes and snacks, at low prices. But Infusion is also and above all a place to discover the world of tea. About forty references and some of them change according to the seasons. We still like it, bravo to Dvozig who reinvents himself.

Forget what you imagine of a traditional karaoke as it is found in the 4 corners of France. Inspired by a famous concept found in Berlin and London, Sing or die Karaoké brings to Marseilles that touch of madness so eagerly awaited by song lovers! Here, there's nothing but good humour, kindness and no shame to be had. The audience is cool, the current playlists (and some classics, 3,000 tracks all the same) and above all we're having fun. Atmosphere halfway between punk and queer, open your eyes and ears wide. As a bonus, 4 soundproof boxes can be privatized to sing at the top of your lungs with friends or for the shyest ones.

One of the spots that makes Marseilles vibrate every year in the summer. On the Roucas Blanc beach, in the Prado seaside park, what was for a long time a well-known snack bar for bathers has been reinvented as a bar-restaurant, "à la cool", with its feet in the water. A place to eat at the end of the week, to have a drink until late in the evening on Fridays and Saturdays, or to have brunch with friends on Sundays. In the plate, salads, pizzas, and hop, we go back to sunbathing or swimming. Nothing more, nothing less.

Close to the Cours Estienne-d'Orves and its liveliness, sheltered by stairs leading to the Rue Sainte, this recently opened bar is festive and committed to a zero waste approach, quite unheard of for a nightclub. Indeed, here, when you drink beer, you clean the beaches: each liter of beer consumed allows the cleaning of one meter of beach by the committed teams of Le Mousse. Because Le Mousse, beyond being a committed brewery, is also and above all a brand of eco-responsible clothing produced in France. Drinking and partying for a good cause is a clever concept that we really like. While drinking sensibly of course because you won't save the planet alone.
