1 review

At Le Moulin à Café, you can sit out on the terrace to watch passers-by, or in the refined, intimate interior lounge, with its late 19th-century ceiling adorned with a superb chandelier, and a floor in the purest Italian style. We come here to enjoy a range of teas, coffee beans and gourmet drinks, and at snack time, to indulge in our mouth-watering home-made pastries! Before you leave, you can choose your own loose tea from the library to take home and keep the pleasure of this sweet break going.

LE SHAMBHALA

1 review

Here we feel good, we are greeted with open arms, always with a smile, with great attention and sympathy. The nomadic garden style Tente tries to seduce, adding to the atmosphere a feeling of complete change. This tea salon has turned into Tunisian casbah, brown and orange hot tones, coordinated striped fabrics, sails, trendy furniture, designs and calligraphy on the walls… to get us better, especially at midday since we can now restore it. For lunch breaks, salads, salty pies, Tunisian bricks… Faithful to its world atmosphere, the Shambhala also develops its activities: Richer games, organisation of themed evenings, conversation courses in foreign languages, meditation, yoga… This place is unique, word of Petit Smart!

LE SEVENTIES

Billiard rooms
5/5
1 review

On the banks of the Canal du Midi, the Seventies is an atypical place combining advertising and billiard room. In the pub, the bar offers a map of about twenty beers, regularly complemented by season beers. The fans of whiskies will not be there: a wide range of quality products is offered, from the most classical to the surprising Japanese whiskies! For small faims, you can order bruschettas and some delicacies. On billiards, the Seventies is equipped for good evenings: ten pools, four American billiards, a French billiard and a snooker. Beginner? You can book special courses! If you enjoy rugby, football, baseball, hockey or basketball, you can also watch retransmissions on a giant screen. Finally, the Seventies also thought about fans of video games with consoles and special evenings. It's even possible to play on an authentic 1980 s! The musical atmosphere is rather pop-rock, but Sunday is more oriented blues while on Mondays, the new wave of the eighties is on its way. It's hard to get bored at Seventies!

O P'TIT BONHEUR

Lounge bar
5/5
1 review

The owners of the place have put everything they love here and dressed this half-bar half-brothel of hundreds of books, vinyls, furniture and various objects to hunt.... The decoration, cosy as one would wish, therefore evolves according to sales, when the welcome remains invariably warm. Between two coffees, the establishment offers concert evenings, with a pretty menu of cocktails.... And cheese or sausage platters. We're in Aveyron anyway! The place is particularly popular on Saturday mornings at market time, for a coffee or an aperitif in good company.

"Chapristea de Chapristea", there are cats in this café! Indeed, you're not fooled... You're in a neko café, the Toulouse version, under beautiful brick vaults! In other words, a tea room where adorable fur balls are just waiting to curl up on your lap! Here, pussycats of all stripes enjoy total freedom. The concept was developed worldwide after seeing the benefits and soothing effects on our feline friends. As well as scratching your cat (some are up for adoption, so ask away!), you'll find a wide range of scented teas, organic coffees, hot chocolates and delicacies... A salon that's sure to do you good. Chat then!

COFFEE SHOP LA FABRIQUE

1 review

This coffee shop is a must in the Gourdonnais area. Nora and Cédric are at the helm of the coffee shop, creating a place where people can meet, relax and enjoy each other's company. Here, people meet over coffee or tea, just as they would in their own living rooms. Concerts and evening events regularly punctuate the coffee shop, as the seasons change. Atmosphere guaranteed. Enjoy board games and a library, a cosy workspace and, this year, a thrift shop that completes the site's activities. To be discovered urgently.

CINÉMA DE MASSEUBE

Cinema
5/5
1 review

This cinema is splendid, because the room was built in the chapel of the old convent. An atypical site for a quality cultural output and if the festival animation is so rich in rural areas, it is certainly thanks to the association Cinema 32 that does not spare its efforts to be at top! In Masseube, she still works in this place where we love weekly animation sessions, especially for children under 13 years of age (and their parents!) but also the eclectic programming that goes from popular cinema to authors'movies. If national exits are present with the release of recent films, some older masterpieces return regularly to the screen. Don't miss anything by following the program on the site's answering machine, because in summer there are many special evenings.

LE FLOWER'S CAFÉ

Coffee shop and tea room
4.4/5
7 reviews

This English tea room is located on a pretty sunny square in the city centre. In the summer, you can sit on the terrace under the large white parasols. In winter, the well-heated room on the first floor allows you to enjoy a moment of calm. You can enjoy a cappuccino or a generous hot chocolate, unless you prefer to taste a tea: lapsang souchong, Formosa tea, fruity black and green teas... Gourmets can also enjoy a Pavlova, a Pecan pie or a cheesecake! As for cold drinks, a freshly squeezed orange juice or, a house speciality, a great red fruit smoothie served chilled. A victim of its own success, the Flower's Café is often crowded, but a scooter rides along the nearby Avenue d'Alsace-Lorraine, allowing you to enjoy a wide selection of drinks and pastries during your shopping day!

Of course, the bakery offers a large choice of breads with various flours, but not only. At the back of the store, there is a tea room, exquisitely furnished. In winter, the fireplace gives the place a warm and friendly atmosphere. Sitting on the comfortable benches in front of a delicately scented tea or an old-fashioned chocolate, accompanied by a sugar crepe or blueberry pie, becomes a real moment of pleasure. You can also enjoy an excellent breakfast with the good pastries of the store.

Opened in autumn 2018, this young address is set up opposite the city's covered market and is run by a passionate couple. URBAN CLUB

5/5
1 review

The Urban Club, though small, offers a great musical ambience, favoring programming far removed from commercial trends. Modern and metallic, it favors intimate encounters. Music videos are played on the walls, and the bartender offers specialties much appreciated by shooters. Right in the center of town, it has plenty of parking spaces. Fred, the owner, offers a warm welcome (and a strong character) to customers aged 18 to 70, and he's keen to mix the generations! An ideal place to dance in a lively atmosphere, despite the limited space.

At Mr.Madame, chic and originality intertwine like the initials of their golden logo against the blue backdrop of Toulouse nights. With its bright blue facade contrasting with the surrounding pink, its warm wood interior and its relaxed atmosphere, this is the setting for your intimate or festive evenings. You'll love the cocktails, with Raspberry Mojito and St-Germain Spritz at the top of the list, accompanied by original tapas (Savoyard croque, shrimp and octopus fritters with turmeric, gambas kadaïf...) or exceptional platters (generous assortments of cooked dishes with multiple flavors). ENTREMETS

Coffee shop and tea room

When you think of pastries, you automatically think of sugar. We salivate in anticipation of a creamy, praline-filled Paris-Brest, an all-chocolate tartelette or a very watery baba! But what would you say if we told you: pastry is salty! When you think about it, you can imagine anything, and that's exactly what Marie did. With a CAP in design and pastry, she makes savory Paris-Brest with goat's cheese mixed with blackberry, or Roquefort with pear, or a Saint-Honoré with smoked trout and wasabi. As Le Petit Futé has tasted, we can confirm: it's good, super good! This pretty green tea room is so welcoming that it's hard to leave.

Then there's a farmhouse cabaret inn, where David's wife Laetitia prepares a meal with a good portion of home-grown produce served on the plate. On stage, a cabaret show (singer, dancer, magician...) completes the ensemble.
