JACKDAW NOTHING TO DECLARE
Read moreVisit the locations of Dany Boon's film, Nothing to Declare. Relive the border crossing between Macquenoise (Belgium) and Hirson-Forêt (France). The atmosphere of the film is tremendously well recreated, thanks in particular to André Meunier, a true local figure! You will learn more about the territory, about various products such as Chimay beer or maroilles and about filming. Eight years after the film's release, the places, which have been transformed into a small museum, still attract many visitors, so that in 2017 the team created an escape game called "The Office". Locked in the customs offices, your team has 60 minutes to find the keys to the famous 4L of the film in order to escape the customs chief. The success has been such that, since then, two other escape games have emerged: "Le Garage" and "L'Enquête". A frank part of laughter in perspective.

LA PLACE CARNEGIE
Read moreIt is not a monument in particular that there is to visit here, but a full place. It is located at the heart of the concentric plan adopted after the First World War (between 1922 and 1928) to rebuild the city. So it is really the centre of the village, which revolves around it. This ensemble has been a historic monument since 1998 to architects Paul Bigot and Henri-Paul Nénot.
THE PLACE OF THE CLOD
Read moreYou are here on the central square of the municipality. It was here, once, that the Lord of Marle or his squire made justice. It is also here that, according to tradition, Thomas de Marle made des on an acute spear. It is also on this place that public meetings have always been held: reading decrees, decrees or elections. The castle's fortified door was located on La Motte square.

OLD SENLIS STREETS
Read moreWithout doubt, it is one of the largest and best-preserved cities in France. This medieval town has been preserved from th century urbanization with a few exceptions, such as the Rue de République, a large straight artery cutting the center into two. Half a day will not be superfluous to discover the fortifications of Philippe-Auguste and the small streets with irregular pavés, picturesque names and covered façades of ivy and roses. A stroll will allow you to admire some beautiful sights such as the Saint-Via church masked by pretty kitsch columns. And to guess sumptuous hotels peculiar to massive portals surmounted by stone vases such as Hotel Germain, in the rue du Haubergier or on the square of Mauconseil. You can "rest" with the eyes, saturated with so many architectural beauties, using the ramparts from the Porte gate. With one side of the Nonette flowing down and Gardens, and on the other, Saint Vincent Abbey. Counsel: Don't hesitate to walk in the city when you walk away. The evening light gives a yellow hue to the limestone stones of the houses.
