Getting around by cab and VTC Lombok

Blue Bird Taxi is THE cab company in Bali and Lombok. Founded in 1965, it is reliable and affordable. Count on Rp 150,000 for a trip between Bangsal (the port opposite the Gili Islands) and Senggigi, and Rp 200/250,000 to Mataram. Drivers are generally friendly and helpful, and for a fee (usually Rp 100/200,000) they can also wait for you for a few hours on site during your visit, so you don't have to look for another cab. It's also possible to leave the meter running.

Blue Bird Taksi (blue colour) is the most recommendable. But also Express Taksi (white).
