This magnificent Chora mansion was built in 1597 by Abbot Pagostas, who officiated at the nearby monastery of Saint John. It has been lovingly renovated by its owners, who love beautiful things and heritage, and has been offering three rooms since 2022. It's a privilege to stay here: everything is splendid in this traditional architecture, with its emphasis on raw materials (whitewashed stone, exposed beams, terracotta floors), as is the magnificently selected interior decoration. But this historic luxury comes at a price.

This group of white houses faces the sea, closing off the southern end of the bay of Kato Lefkos. Close to the beaches, the village and small shops, but in a peaceful setting, you feel as if you're immersed in the sea, which spreads out in infinite calm. The immaculately clean apartments are comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated. Located in the heart of the village of Monolithos, at the foot of Mount Akramitis, you'll be staying here in authentic, unspoilt Rhodes. The renovated rooms are very pleasant, blending traditional architecture with modern amenities. The delicious breakfast is homemade, using only local ingredients. Some dishes are also available for light meals.

Just 500 meters from the beach in the village, this pleasant tavern rents out a handful of rooms. The tavern alone is worth a visit. The food is excellent, with an open kitchen so you can watch the cooks at work. The service is as attentive as the owners themselves. Lovely surroundings, fresh produce and home cooking. You really get the feeling that this establishment is run with passion and is not just a tourist spot.

These apartments are ideally located 2 minutes from the bus, 10 minutes from the center and 15 minutes from the beach on foot. Sufficiently secluded at the height of the season, they have an appreciable balcony for dining in peace and quiet (especially as you can buy a few victuals nearby). Dimitris is very welcoming. His advice is invaluable, especially when it comes to discovering the area's wonderful beaches. It's a good option given that Liapades is a typical village and a (still) family-friendly seaside resort.
