This tavern, located in the new town but in a traditional setting, in the shade of an arbour from which bougainvillea hang, is a little gem. Since 2011, Jani and Linda have been serving local, family-style food based on grilled meats and seafood dishes, not forgetting the inevitable gyros. It's a simple, warm atmosphere in which to spend a pleasant moment with family and friends. The dishes have moved upmarket in recent years, and what was once a simple taverna is now a fine restaurant.

The location of this restaurant, overlooking the sea and the island of Naxos off the coast, is reason enough to sit down. And to top it all off, the food is as exquisite as the location! Established in Lefkes since 1997, Agnadio specializes in meat, offering spit-roasted meats and exceptional grills. But of course, good meat is not enough to make a good address: here you'll also find excellent fresh local vegetables and Mediterranean dishes, both vegetarian and seafood-based. A real delight!

Traditional Cretan cuisine from father to son since 1930. Among the most popular dishes, baked lamb with potatoes, gamopilafo (pilaf with lamb: the typical dish served at weddings in Crete). The tavern is also recommended for its grills. In season, every Saturday, from 8 pm, the Cretan evening begins with traditional dances to the rhythm of the lyre and lute. The tavern is a real folklore museum where you can also buy local products to take away. Very good address.

This restaurant serves typical Cretan dishes flavoured with the island's many herbs. The waiters are professional and will advise you very well, both on the choice of wines and on the refined dishes. We also offer meat roasted over a wood fire, slowly cooking in front of your eyes. Some dishes are covered with a bell to keep them warm but, above all, the inside is covered with herbs which, thanks to their aroma and flavour, give the meat a unique aroma and taste.
