This hotel complex is located along the harbour. You can stay in double rooms, an apartment or a fully equipped chalet. The buildings are former fishermen's sheds that have been refurbished. To collect the keys you have to go to the reception of Thon Hotel Andrikken, where you can also have breakfast if you wish. They are not the best equipped cottages we know of, but they are very good and at least provide a good rest.

A very beautiful hotel, offering comfort, space and bright architecture in a vast rorbuer. Some rooms are even equipped with a hole allowing you to fish directly from your bed (or almost!). The hotel is located on a central island and its positioning ensures on the one hand a nice view of the city from most of the rooms, and on the other hand a direct proximity to all the shops. Bardufosstun was built around the theme of sport. For more than 50 years, many athletes in northern Norway (such as Jan Lindvall, Vegard Ulvang, Marianne Dahlmo, Fred Børre Lundberg, Bjarte Engen Vik) have seen this facility as a good training centre. At the other end of the village is a group of rorbuer, the oldest of which date from the 1800s. Tastefully restored, they are equipped with a kitchenette and a shower. A cold room and a grill for freezing and cooking freshly caught fish are available to guests. In the main building overlooking the docks, a lovely little café made of white wood is arranged around its central fireplace. The rorbu is a fisherman's hut on stilts typical of northern Norway, more precisely of Lofoten.
