Discovering the Cevennes with its interlacing green valleys by helicopter with a totally panoramic view will leave you with unforgettable memories. Baptisms of the air, tourist circuits or initiation flights. From Saint-Jean-du-Gard, without doubt the best way, with the flights in tourist plane from the airfield of Deaux, to discover the Cevennes. Especially as seen from the air, you will become aware of this incredible narrowing of massifs which characterizes the Cevennes. Because Lozere is a huge playground, Lozere Nature offers a lot of activities to play on the cliffs, underground or on the water. Equipment, accompaniment, advice, here all services are proposed until the ideas of original stays: in a yurt or in a cave with the underground bivouac. Are you interested in abseiling and tyrolean traverse? The adventure course is for you. For families, a package per day and per person will allow you to do abseiling, canyoning, bivouac in a cave and via ferrata!

This multi-activity leisure centre - created by the team of viaduct boatmen - is located at the entrance to Millau. It offers canoeing down the Tarn. For sport lovers, we also offer a via ferrata in the Tarn gorges, stand up paddle on a stretch of water or in the river, but also rental equipment to venture on the via ferrata courses. Everything you could dream of doing in the area to discover the riches of this wild nature, with a team attentive to the needs and difficulties of each person.

Equipment hire, à la carte activities, holiday packages... A team of sports professionals has tested and perfected an impressive range of activities between rock and canyon. In the water, these qualified instructors train their students in canoeing, rafting, canyoning... Above or below ground, the teams indulge in the joys of climbing, caving, via ferrata, electric mountain biking or paintball, just to let off some steam. If you're a thrill-seeker, you can also opt for bungee jumping.

The adventure on a donkey, with your family for one or more days... A fun and original way to discover the Cevennes or the Ardèche plateau, in charming company: donkeys are brave, friendly, and above all, particularly suitable for children. Moreover, they really go everywhere! It is thus provided with a map and a practical guide, that one can discover the paths and the ways, the places of bathing, and especially the lodgings or the camp-sites adapted to the "crew". It is also possible to stay in a tipi.

Built on the edge of the Lot, this lake extends over 9 hectares near La Canourgue. With its equipped beach and its small restaurant, one could believe oneself at the seaside, the calm and the serenity in more! Nearby, the vacation village offers about forty cottages and a comfortable gîte d'étape with seventeen places at a low price. The restaurant, open from March to mid-December, offers a generous and varied menu, to be enjoyed on the large wooden terrace to take advantage of an incredibly beautiful and relaxing environment.

Starting from Les Vignes or Le Rozier, the structure offers three routes of 7 to 17 kilometers lasting from 2 to 5 hours, and a possibility of a two-day descent, with bivouac at the campsite. The easiest circuit, of 7 km, reaches Peyrelade, on calm waters, for a duration of about 2 hours. The sportiest one of 17 km combines the family course and the descent of the fast and lively waters from Les Vignes. But each one allows you to discover the landscape at your own pace. For all, the equipment and the shuttle to reach the starting point are included in the price.

Just 200 m from the village of Sainte-Enimie, on the road to Florac, Le Canophile offers a choice of rental options: lazing around by the hour or five routes ranging from 5 to 40 km. The "discovery" routes, upstream from Sainte-Enimie, depart from Prades or Montbrun, depending on the distance chosen. Neophytes can try their hand on the water before embarking on a descent. For the more experienced, 2 and 3-day courses (32 km and 40 km) are available. In all cases, the Canophile will advise you on a circuit suited to your pace.

The Locanoë team manages a small fleet of boats and offers free canoe and kayak trips. Several routes are available, from the 6 km "zero-carbon" (2h) between Castelbouc and Sainte-Enimie, with a return walk along the Tarn, to the 13 km "classic" (afternoon or full day) between Sainte-Enimie and Rives Basses, or the 29 km "escape", to be done over 2 days between Castelbouc and Baumes Basses. You can also hire a paddle on the Castelbouc lake.

The gorges of the Tarn are undoubtedly the ideal spot to practice kayaking, canoeing, paddle and other watercraft in Lozere. Aqua Loisirs has thus set up six circuits, starting from Les Vignes, where its base is, to take advantage of the sometimes rougher and sometimes calmer waters of the river. Their names (The Unforgettable; The Magnificent; The Sensational...) announce the colour very clearly: exceptional landscapes, emotions, surprises and pleasure above all, accessible to all levels thanks to the varied lengths and levels of the circuits.

The Gard region is highly suitable for caving, and while the SCSP may not have won any medals, it has a fine roster of enthusiasts ready to share this sport with the greatest respect for an infinitely fragile environment. Equipment is supplied by the club, and introductory sessions are organized on request. The association also brings together geology, prehistory, via ferrata and canyoning enthusiasts, many of whom also enjoy photography.

This green trail links Saint-Martin-de-Valgalgues with the south of Alès. Starting at the Pôle Mécanique crossroads, it crosses the town along the Gardon, taking you over a distance of just 7 kilometers to the 18-Juin-1940 commemorative bridge. The smooth surface is perfect for rollerblading and skateboarding, and whatever your preferred sport, you'll be able to progress in complete safety thanks to the concrete edges.

A real competition pool of 25 m long and 10 water lines, a pool with a bubbling bath, a huge 35 m slide, huge bay windows to make the place very bright and sunny, this recent high-tech water sports center is really at the forefront of progress in the field. You can come and swim alone but also take lessons. Its great plus for the nice days: large outdoor grassy areas where you can lounge on deckchairs. Many activities are also offered during the vacations.

At the end of March, the town of Alès receives one of the rare races of races against the watch organised in the Hexagon, and takes place between the city and the Belvedere. You have understood: the climb is sporty! But if you are driven and the final coast of 1,2 km is not cold in your eyes, rush! The opportunity is ideal for measuring to others, but also - and above all - for yourself, in a cosy and warm atmosphere. And whatever your time, remember that the most important thing is to participate!

A former factory near the city centre transformed into an amusement park, that's really not ordinary! A former railroad line, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time as soon as you take your first steps, or start pedaling. The 3 m wide track passes over the Eiffel-type Lavassac metal bridge, viaducts and tunnels for 3.5 km. Pleasant both for the quality of its surface and for the views it affords over the Cévennes valley of the Rivière d'Arre. It lends itself equally well to walks and bike rides with family and friends, rollerblade training and daily jogging.

Whether you're an experienced motorcycle enthusiast or an amateur, the truth is well known in the Cévennes, particularly in the Aigoual massif: mountain biking is king, especially in Valleraugue where "Base VTT Explosion" is located.
