Water sports Châteaux de la Loire

Established in 1977, Rillé Lake is now an important water recreation centre located midway between Bourgueil and Château-la-Vallière. No activity is forgotten: sailing, sailing, boat, but also tennis, mini golf… For amateurs, an exceptional ornithological reserve in the part of Des, whose 220 ha are protected and classified by the Council of Europe. A three-star campsite offers the visitor the conditions for a pleasant stay. However, the interest of the village is not limited to these activities: at the northern exit of the village, a broken arch door recalls the importance of Rillé as a strong place from the th century, and one part of the ramparts that surround the whole. Two curiosities remain to be noted: 4 km west of the agglomeration, "the three dogs", strange alignment of menhirs, and the farm model of the Briche, now abandoned but which was a pioneer in the distillation of beet for the manufacture of sugar; it was awarded by Napoleon III before closing, in 1905, defeated by northern competition.

The Saint-Blaise leisure park is ideal for your family outings. Free of charge, it offers a plethora of activities to satisfy the energy of your dear children: from the slides to the ponies, not forgetting the pedal boats and the bowling green, they should find something to do. In summer, access the beach and its supervised swimming. To quench your thirst, a refreshment bar welcomes you. For fishermen, it will even be possible to go and tease the trout, the park providing equipment and bait.

A beautiful leisure base to spend a relaxing time with the family. Because in the summer, the lake and the beach come alive! Many activities are offered: pedal boat, supervised swimming in July and August, from 1pm to 7pm, canoeing, fishing, miniature golf, table tennis, picnic areas, bar, fast food at the Bistrot Capitaine, petanque and volleyball courts. The park is accessible all year round and of course free of charge: enough to go jogging or to walk in this pleasant greenery and contemplate nature. A good breath of fresh air guaranteed!

Amateur or experienced fishermen, the Hubeau Mill will be for you a corner of paradise. Without a fishing licence, rent a space among the dozen ponds on the site and enjoy a trout release on order, or simply enjoy the beauty of the place by having a picnic... Barbecue available ! Different formulas are proposed (for children too), rentals are spread over half a day, a day, and even the weekend! It is also possible to pay only for the fish caught. Think of booking if you want to discover this popular place during the holidays.

Surrounded by the Orléans forest, this 70-hectare pond was originally a reservoir for the Orléans canal. It is now a place for walks and leisure activities, with areas reserved for swimming and others for navigation (canoeing, kayaking, etc.). Two hiking trails have been developed: the sensory path of Carnutes and the Bois Bézards which goes around the pond and goes to the lookout Caillettes, the highest point of the forest of Orleans. The pond Combreux finds its counterpart with the pond of Bois, located in Vieilles-Maisons.

The leisure center covers 27 hectares, more than half of which are occupied by the water. Numerous sports and outdoor activities are possible: walks, fishing, volleyball, ping-pong, petanque ground, sailing school, archery. It is also possible to rent all the necessary equipment such as windsurfing, optimist sailboat, dinghy, catamaran, pedal boat, mountain bike, canoe. There are children's games and a picnic area.

Close to the city center, this area was developed by the city on former flood meadows in 1978. A beautiful park and an immense stretch of water in the heart of the city, where you can cool off in the summer with a swimming area, picnic, run, sail or canoe. The banks are ideal for wildlife observation. You'll also find a 4-star campsite, the Maison de l'Environnement and the nautical center.
