You don't need a license to rent a boat and sail! After a one hour training and the delivery of a captain's booklet, you will be able to leave the historical base of Grez-Neuville and discover the river landscape of Anjou. You will have a choice of 10 boats, all French. The freshwater sailors will meet in couple or in tribe for escapades going from the day to the week. The company is one of the few to offer rentals in the low season: a great deal to enjoy the mist that rises on the shore in the early morning.

The Canalous' fleet of 23 livable boats can accommodate from 2 to 12 people and sail on the Maine, Mayenne, Sarthe and Oudon rivers. 300 km of waterways and their flowered locks are waiting for you, because no license is necessary to pilot these small boats and barges. A training is set up before the departure all the same... During this itinerant stay, your stops will be the picturesque villages of Anjou, the forests, the guinguettes and the towpath fitted out for the bicycle from Daon, commune of the Mayenne, to Angers.
