Vornay, in the heart of the Berry region, is home to the Spiruline du Berry farm. The farm produces high-quality spirulina flakes in compliance with the production charter of the Fédération des Spiruliniers de France. Spirulina is harvested, filtered and pressed to produce a green paste, which is then dried at low temperature and transformed into flakes. The farm's owners, Baptiste and Marie-Caroline, are passionate about spirulina and work every day to better understand this micro-algae. They also offer by-products such as spirulina tablets. Tours of the farm are available by appointment. The farm's online store is also available for those wishing to purchase spirulina. Spirulina is recognized as a source of protein, iron, antioxidants and vitamins. It's a superfood with numerous health benefits.
