A very old family, the Fouassier family has long been an important place in the Sancerre vineyard. In 1924, Jules Fouassier was already putting his wine into bottles and marketing his production! Today, the 9 th and 10 th generations of the same name work together in the development of different wines from the different terroirs of the appellation. The farm is composed of 44 hectares of sauvignon and 11 hectares of pinot noir. The wines are vinified according to their original soil (argilo limestone, limestone or flint), an organ point of the area. Thus, several white lenses are proposed for which the vinifications are traditional and identical. The black pinot has a vinification with cold maceration, trapping and reassembly, all modulated following the vintage. Among these magnificent wines: " L 'Étourneau "red, high in drums, remarkable. In pouilly-smoked, hold the "Jules" and the "Domaine des Cassiers". Not to mention «Melody de Gustave Fouassier» or «Clos Paradis» but also «Les Grands Champs». Please note: The sancerres are in organic farming and biodynamia (work of the vine and the cellar according to the lunar calendar).
