CHATEAU SANCERRE
Château de Sancerre, located in Sancerre, is one of the strongest medieval castles ever built. Although only the medieval keep, known as the Tour des Fiefs, remains, the château offers a breathtaking view over a unique terroir composed of 4 different soils. Its 55-hectare vineyard is planted with vines of an average age of 25 years, producing lively, crisp Sauvignon Blanc wines with good structure and aromas of ripe redcurrant and smoky, stony notes. Château de Sancerre wines are made, matured and bottled on site. The estate has obtained level 3 High Environmental Value certification, guaranteeing the preservation of local biodiversity as well as environmentally-friendly fertilization, irrigation and phytosanitary practices. In addition to wine tasting, the château also offers a boutique where you can purchase their products.
