The Mansart Museum holding the castle of Sagonne is dedicated to this dynasty of great architects and especially to Jules Hardouin-Mansart, architect of Versailles, Invalides, places Vendôme and Victoires and a multitude of masterpieces. A large collection of time prints, documents, photographs evoking the life and works of the four Mansart. A grand portrait of Jules Hardouin-Mansart dominates the large living room. He was painted by the excellent portrait painter Hyacinthe Rigaud, inseparable from Louis XIV.
