It will soon be ten years since Mehun-sur-Yèvre vibrates at the rhythm of the Venetian carnival. This event, which lasts two days, takes place in April. Carried by a local association, it brings together several associations throughout France and attracts many people. Dressed in colours costumes, the famous face-painted Venetian masks, members of the associations walk through the streets of the city centre to the gardens of Duke Jean de Berry. A wonderful show very secluded!

Pretty procession the Venetians, costumes ones more beautiful than the others. Moment of total change of scenery for a few hours in beautiful surroundings which are the streets of Mehun.
