The Pôle de la porcelaine in Mehun-sur-Yèvre revealed last Sunday the talents of young children who came to learn about painting on porcelain. The activity offered free of charge allowed each child to make a small plate to offer on Mother's Day. Throughout the year, the Pôle de la porcelaine also organises "pottery" workshops on specific themes: secret box, magnet, pencil holder, trivet... The workshop "Painting on porcelain" also highlighted the simplicity of the equipment required: a porcelain piece, suitable paint available in all hobby shops and an ordinary oven (firing the porcelain piece for 30 minutes at 150°C). Notice to young artists for upcoming events!
