ANGEL CHAPEL CASTLE
Situated on the Jacques Cœur road, this feudal castle was fortified by Gillon de Seuly, founder of the city, at the end of the th century. Surrounded by a moat, surrounded by round towers, a dungeon and dominated by a pond, it is furnished and inhabited but opened to the public. Count Jean of Ogny, owner of the castle, opened his doors and commented on his own visit to the residence where the lords of La Chapelle-d'Angillon, princes of Boisbelle, but also Sully, Princess of Albret, Princess of Kleve (who served as a model to Ms de La Fayette for her famous novel), Gonzague prince of Boisbelle or the Duke from Nevers. Inside, the visit allows you to see all the pieces, distributed by narrow stairs. This romantic castle houses a unique and quite astonishing collection in Europe on the th century Albania. Sunday mass can be seen in the beautiful castle chapel traditionally celebrated every Sunday at 10 pm. Reception is worthy of the great hospital tradition. The passions of the owners animate these places and they will make you discover their coups. The castle can be rented for weddings or other ceremonies.
