While many municipalities are traversed by a canal, fewer have two in their territory. It is the particularity of Jouet-sur-l 'Aubois that sees the lateral canal to the Loire east of the village and arrive south the channel of Berry. If it was decommissioned in 1955 and partly filled, there is still a place to relax for the inhabitants and tourists. The municipality has set up a walk with information panels.
