CHAPELLE NOTRE-DAME DU GOHAZÉ

Located on the banks of the Blavet, the Notre-Dame du Gohazé chapel is said to be the cradle of Christianity in the Pontivy region. Built from the 15th century, it derives its particularity from its panelling painted with floral motifs and polychrome wooden statues. In particular, there is a particularly moving Virgin and Child, as the feeling of love is so palpable. The site is also a starting point for walks and bike rides along the Blavet and in the surrounding countryside.
