CHAPELLE SAINT-JEAN

On the heights of Pontivy, at the edge of a small wood, the site of the Saint-Jean chapel offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. This chapel is relatively recent: rebuilt in 1892, it is in neo-Gothic style. Externally and internally, it is quite simple, but it does not lack charm. Its stained glass windows are emblematic of the art of stained glass in the 19th century, combining the use of new techniques and a romantic taste for the Middle Ages.
