In the heart of the impressive Vauban citadel, La Table du Gouverneur offers an authentic cuisine combining the flavours of the land and the sea. In the governor's residence, you enter a particular atmosphere: this is the philosophy of the whole of this grandiose and unique space. The governor's table is no exception... And even if the restaurant room is more intimate than the rest of the citadel, the place imposes respect: walls in ochre and luminous colours, period tints, paintings by ancient masters, delicate dishes. The menu is also at the height of the gambas grilled in grapefruit salad, sea urchin coral with balsamic and coriander, grilled bass back with red butter, fondant with two chocolates, coffee custard... Do not hesitate to book on the terrace: the soft murmur of the fountain will intoxicate this sweet moment of luxury and pleasure!

Nous avons pris le menu de l'Artilleur qui est le menu intermédiaire et n'avons en aucun cas regretté cet "upgrade" culinaire qui a sur enchanté nos papilles. De l'entré au dessert (je vous recommande le risotto qui est un régal pour les papilles et le nez), nous avons eu droit avec nos deux petits enfants à un service attentionné. Tout n'est que régal dans cet aventure... et le dessert aux chocolats une vraie merveille.
