Garden resembling a medieval walled garden with various medicinal, tinctorial, aromatic and food plants.
Created for educational purposes by the "Ragoles et Béruchets" association, this medieval botanical garden can be visited like an open book. A stroll through the garden reveals what a walled garden looked like in the Middle Ages, and how it was structured, with intertwined branches used to delimit the vegetable garden squares. We learn about various medicinal, tinctorial (used for dyeing), aromatic and food plants. Woodland strawberry, marigold, sage, iris, lupine and fennel grow alongside fruit trees, hazelnut, apple and peach.
