Since 1987, Durand Chocolatier has been making numbered chocolates with unchanging recipes that are secretly kept. In its Empire style attire and cocoa decor, the shop is not lacking in style! The first thing you'll notice is the 41 little squares placed behind the counter. All of them compete in quality and finesse, such as the "Compagnie des Indes" (n° 35) whose woody spice alliance is striking. The n° 36, with seaweed, is the most oceanic of all. We also discover the famous cake inspired by the Breton poisoner Hélène Jégado.

Craftsmanship in the heart... of the city.
Throughout the year, we offer a range of chocolates and confectionery made in our workshop adjacent to the shop.
The Maison Durand makes its chocolates from high quality beans, with a typical taste, and favours fresh plants and infusions, without artificial flavours or essential oils... In addition, she has formed partnerships with a large number of local producers for the quality of their products, and respectful of the environment. At the confectionery level, a range also elaborated with a rigorous selection of raw materials. Come and discover the Hélène Jégado cake (quite a story!), as well as the Kouign Amann with pure PDO butter .

But the idea of Labo Compoz was to reuse the ganaches from our famous numbered chocolates and rebirth them in beers. Starting with the same raw (and local) ingredients as the chocolatier!
