A charming swimming pool, the oldest in Rennes, a living monument of Rennes heritage to discover.

A high place of hygienism in the 1920s still in use, this is a resplendent site whose aesthetics reminds us of the spas of the Belle Epoque. Built in 1926 in the Art Deco style by Odorico, an emblematic mosaicist from Rennes, it is the oldest swimming pool in Rennes. Entirely lined with blue tesserae, its 33 x 14 m pool and its unchanged architecture, except for the ceiling, give it a particular singularity. A living historical monument of Rennes' heritage, to be visited even without dipping your toe in!

Quelle piscine ! Une vraie remontée dans le temps ! Cette piscine est à visiter ! Incroyable qu'elle soit ouverte au public pour utilisation en tant que telle, bravo !

J'ai adoré cette piscine qui a une structure en "atrium" avec des cabines tout autour. Il y a des mosaïques dans toute la piscine, ce qui lui rajoute de l'authenticité.
Un peu de monde vendredi entre 12-14 mais ça se fait quand on aime nager.
Il y a une douche froide exprès pour se tonifier après les douches chaudes :).
Le batiment est aussi très beau depuis l'extérieur. À proximité du parc Thabor, c'est un plus! Pour se détendre après la piscine.

On apprécie le côté "rétro" de cette piscine avec les cabines autour du bassin. Grand bassin de 33m avec de larges couloirs de nage, c'est très pratique pour se croiser sans se déranger.
