INSTITUT FRANCO-AMÉRICAIN

The Franco-American Institute offers Rennes and the American or Americanophile community of Rennes a rich and varied cultural program: conferences about the USA (travels, books, TV series, news...), exhibitions of American or French artists, but also film screenings and inter-cultural encounters. But that's not all! The Institute also organizes discussion clubs to practice the language of Shakespeare (from October to June) and many other meetings to exchange ideas: youth club (from 0 to 18 years old!), reading clubs, philosophy clubs and even wine tasting. In addition, the animation of the place varies according to the seasons: traditional Thanksgiving dinner on the fourth Thursday of November, Christmas carols, celebration of the United States Independence Day ... The library is full of books and documentation on American culture.
