ADEME

ADEME's work in assisting and supporting sustainable development projects of local authorities and companies is recognised, but it also conducts public awareness campaigns. It is involved in waste management, soil conservation, energy savings and renewable energies, air quality and noise control. ADEME also works with the representative bodies of the various professional sectors (in particular agriculture) and offers financial aid to promising projects, aid in the form of tools and equipment, and rewards ecological initiatives in the region.
