The FACULTY of Philosophy offers license training to the secondary and Doctoral recruitment competitions. During this course, you will become familiar with the whole field of philosophical studies: logic, metaphysical, ethical, political philosophy, philosophy of science… Your studies will take place according to various approaches: history of philosophy, phenomenology, analytical philosophy… In License, an opening to other disciplines is ensured within the so-called "Discovery" EU, mainly taught in Rennes 2, and then in the EU of "Professionalization", with an offer in law and political science. On campus, you will enjoy a rich library and a computer room: they will give you the means to work and write while the conferences and conferences organised within the FACULTY will offer you the opportunity to discover new areas where the lively questions of philosophy research are discussed. A network of international relations (Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Portugal) gives you the opportunity to carry out a year of study abroad while close collaboration with the IUFM strengthens the preparation for competitions. The FACULTY is also, within the framework of the 3rd cycle and the research team, a privileged place for initiation to research.
