Annie Robine is a binder artist who followed a book binder training at the Estienne School in Paris. A passionate artist, she offers different formulas to initiate binder techniques and transmit his knowledge. It plays with noble materials such as leather, ordinary objects (shellfish, textiles, metals) and extraordinary to connect your old or contemporary books and allow to finally judge a book according to its cover! Annie Robine wants to anchor the binder in contemporary and for this explores the limits of technique using other horizons, notably Japanese binder, and decompartmentalize the materials used.
