In the shop window, it is almost hard to believe that you are dealing with a real optician, so much so that certain pairs of glasses on display seem to be pure aberrations or out of a science-fiction film. Inside, Fabienne welcomes us with a big smile and takes us on an immediate tour of her shop. Everywhere, pairs of glasses, all original. There is even a small room at the back, in the shape of a living room with, displayed on the coffee table, in the fridge, on the TV, glasses, always, of all shapes, of all colours, from various designers. A real museum! Assuming that the so-called sober styles of so-called classical opticians are not always the best choices, Fabienne prefers to consider that everyone has their own style and that a frame is never too whimsical as long as it fits us. Here, we take our time to find the frame that suits our looks as well as our personality. Advice comes first and it is possible to take out a loan for a few days if you ever doubt your choice.

CHANTAL COLLIAUX

From creation to perfection. Colliaux Opticiens trains with the best craftsmen in France to fine-tune its advice and offer an ultra-personalized service, within easy reach. Eyewear made in France takes pride of place. Nearly twenty designers are making their presence felt: Anne et Valentin, Théo, Mykita, Garret Leight... Don't panic, a knowledgeable team takes the time to give you their best advice on finding THE pair. We let ourselves be lulled by the jazz tunes and settle into the soft banquettes, coffee in hand. Most of the models are chosen at the Salon de l'Optique in Paris, and the store is renowned for having models ranging from the most sober to the most eccentric.

LA FABRIQUE DE LUNEDOÙ

Optician

La Fabrique de Lunédou was set up by Corinne, a former judo teacher and anti-conformist optician. The boutique distributes eyewear from French brands such as Morel, L'amy and Julbo, all made in the Jura region. At the same time, our spectacle-maker creates made-to-measure eyewear in her workshop for all body shapes. The models are designed in cellulose acetate from Oyonnax in the Ain region, and incorporate various materials to create motifs (fabric, shells, etc.): the field of possibilities is vast. Her Ayoka brand, which means "hello and welcome" in Bété, is a lovely nod to her Ivorian origins... and to the warmth of the place.

SUPERKIDS

Optician

Nos Petites Canailles has become Superkids by Anne & Valentin, one of the former boutique's flagship brands, made in Jura. The optical store dedicated to children and tweens has a sales area and a colorful, ultra-design play area. Bénédicte and Emma are on hand to detect your kids' corrective needs and find the most beautiful frames. To discover this year: Théo, Odette lunette, La petite lunette rouge and Komono, not forgetting of course Very French Gangsters, I.C.B.G, Nathalie Blanc, Jean-François Rey... A concept that takes us all the way across the Atlantic. You can even have your frames made in Seattle!
