Seasonal and fresh cuisine in a bistro near the Portes Mordelaises.
If the Rue Nantaise is full of good restaurants, the Bistrot des Remparts is a major contributor to its reputation. The restaurant's watchwords: local, fresh, homemade and traditional. Chef Antoine Graffin creates a limited menu, which changes every month and doesn't leave vegetarians out in the cold. You'll love the vegetable-stuffed cabbage with carrot, chestnut and parmesan cream, the lamb shoulder confit with parsnips, pumpkin and hazelnuts, and the hazelnut financier with dulcey ganache and homemade praline ice cream. Special mention for the wine list, most of which is organic or biodynamically grown. A fine address in a neighborhood teeming with good produce.

I ate at this restaurant yesterday and the dishes were delicious. They gave us an amuse bouche of fromage frais that was very good and we had a starter of encrusted braised beef, quince confit, and an automne salad. The main dish was pork shoulder with parsnips, pumpkin, and hazelnuts. And the was a lemon tarte, citrus, and home-made clementine sorbet. The recommended wine was Affirmé and when very well with the dishes. The employees are very nice and the restaurant was clean and had a nice ambiance. It was a very nice experience.
J'ai mangé à ce resto hier et les plats étaient délicieux. Ils nous ont donné un amuse-bouche au fromage frais qui était très bon et on a commencé avec une entrée de boeuf braisé croustillant, confit de coings, et salade d'automne. Le plat était de l'épaule d'agneau confite, panais, potimarron, et noisettes. Et on a fini avec une tarte au citron, agrumes, et sorbet clémentines fait maison. Le vin recommandé était l'Affirmé qui allait très bien avec les plats. Les employés sont très gentils et le resto était propre et a eu une ambiance agréable. C'était une experience très sympa.

Ambiance sympathique, service idem, repas excellent du début à la fin. Seul bémol, nous avons trouvé les parts un peu justes.

Très belle adresse pour un repas délicieux , très fin, un régal pour les papilles . Décoration magnifique qui donne un charme et une ambiance cosy. Petit bémol nous étions a l'entrée on a eu un peu froid avec la porte et les allers et venus des clients . Je recommande avec grand plaisir

Merci Vanessa pour votre sympathique commentaire. Quand il fait très froid, les allées venues génèrent des courants d'air, une prochaine fois n’hésitez pas à demander à tirer le grands rideau de protection, il est là pour ça, même si il ne resoud pas tout.
