Market cuisine by chef Patrick Hervé in an authentic restaurant in the Saint-Hélier district

Ah, you have to be well directed to get to this restaurant which is at the end of a dead end in the Saint-Hélier district. But what a pleasant surprise! From the former railway workers' bar of the post-war years to the 1980s, the establishment retains its popular spirit, some period signs warning passers-by who crossed the railway tracks and a map of occupied France. The covered arbour is very pleasant for an aperitif. You can taste a market cuisine with a short menu (two starters, two dishes including a meat and a fish, two desserts). As a good bistro, the Diablo'Thym always has a good bottle to recommend to you to enjoy a slab of red tuna with virgin sauce, a fillet of beef with cocoa sauce or a comforting rice pudding with caramel. Toujours plus que parfait , l’accueil téléphonique, physique, une carte courte qui permet l’excellence . Le chef est créatif et fier de sa cuisine et explique avec passion sa manière de travailler.
Le service est également sans reproche et la terrasse tellement agréable en centre ville .

Accueil chaleureux, vision ouverte sur la cuisine qui permet quelques échanges sympas avec le chef. Belle présentation en assiette, copieux et délicieux. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix.
