Address with terrace offering aperitif boards, home-made Basque products and tapas in the evening.
On the way to becoming the reference in Rennes for aperitif boards, Chauffe Maurice's creations were born during the first lockdown following Maurice and Mauricette's observation: since the people of Rennes are stuck at home, let's deliver them the aperitif! Originally from the Basque Country, Julien and Marine naturally start with "La Basque": Manex ham, fuet, tomme from the Pyrenees, ewe's milk cheese... and even a black cherry jam from the Maison Onetik created to measure! The presentation is amazing and the success is obvious! Today, Chauffe Maurice offers us six aperitif boards to vary the pleasures: cheese, meat, veggie, halal! All the products are Basque, except for the sardines, Hénaff pâtés, Rhuys tomes... which make up the "Bretonne" and the sweet treats of the "Gourmande", home-made by Mauricette. The couple welcomes us in an industrial style HQ with a pleasant terrace, but where it is also possible to take a board to go. Not forgetting the delicatessen corner where you can take home good products from the South-West: Olatu fruit juice, Gurea peppers, Lucien Georgelin pâtés...
